Mizuho Bank is a major bank within Japan. It is a part of the Mizuho Financial Group, a bank holding company that has subsidiaries in retail banking, corporate banking and wealth management. It was created in 2002 through a merger and has a significant branch (500+) and ATM (11000+) presence in the country.  Mizuho Bank caters to domestic individuals, small and medium enterprises and governments. The bank issues various savings and deposit products for its customers including not limited to yen denominated time deposits, foreign currency deposits, notice deposits, current deposits, negotiable time deposits and ordinary deposits.
